Santa’s Sleighbell Spectacular
DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN LAPLAND & SNOWMOBILE ADVENTURE
Your adventure begins with an early morning flight from Dublin to Rovaniemi. A light breakfast is served during the flight and the Christmas excitement starts before you even arrive, with festive fun onboard for the children.
On arrival at Rovaniemi – the official airport of Santa Claus – you’ll be welcomed by the elves who will help guide you through your Lapland adventure.
You’ll then be fitted with your thermal clothing, including:
- Thermal snow suits
- Boots & socks
- Hats
- Helmets
- Gloves
Then it’s straight into your first Lapland experience – a 30-minute snowmobile safari through the snow-covered forests.
Adults travel two per snowmobile, while the children have their own adventure in sledges pulled by the guides.
Afterwards, you’ll head to your hotel where you can relax, enjoy the sauna and have a buffet dinner.
Meals included: Breakfast & Dinner
DAY 2 – THE BIG LAPLAND ADVENTURE
After breakfast, your guides will collect you from the hotel for a full day of snow, animals, elves and Christmas magic.
Husky Ride
Visit a husky farm, meet the dogs and learn a little about life with these amazing Arctic animals before enjoying an 800m husky sled ride. Afterwards, warm up with a hot drink and biscuits.
Reindeer Ride & Arctic Circle
Visit a reindeer farm and enjoy a 400m reindeer sleigh ride. You’ll also take part in the magical ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle and even receive your own reindeer driving licence!
Lunch
A hot lunch is included during the day to warm everyone up before the adventures continue.
Joulukka – The Elves’ Secret Forest
You’ll make your way deep into the forest to magical Joulukka, where Christmas preparations are well underway.
You’ll visit Elf School, discover what the elves get up to in preparation for Christmas and decorate your own gingerbread.
There will also be plenty of time for tobogganing and fun in the snow.
Santa’s Secret Command Centre
One of the real highlights of the trip!
Discover how Santa’s elves keep track of Christmas around the world and see how all those letters make their way to Lapland.
And then it’s time for something very special…
A PRIVATE FAMILY MEETING WITH SANTA
Each family will have their own private meeting with Santa Claus, giving the children the chance to chat to him and tell him their Christmas wishes.
Each child will also receive a small token gift from Santa.
Festive Dinner & Show
That evening you’ll head to Santa Park for a festive farewell dinner, with limited drinks included, entertainment and a very special surprise visit from Santa and his elves.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Festive Dinner
The order of the day’s activities can vary between groups.
DAY 3 – SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE
After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, there’s still one more Lapland experience to enjoy.
You’ll visit the famous Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle, with time to explore the shops and pick up some Lapland souvenirs.
You can also visit Santa’s Official Post Office, where the children can send letters and postcards directly from Lapland.
After lunch, it’s time to transfer back to Rovaniemi Airport for your flight home to Dublin, with a light meal served onboard.
Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch

ACCOMMODATION – OUNASVAARA CHALETS
For your stay in Lapland, you’ll be based at the Ounasvaara Chalets, which I think are a lovely option for families.
The chalets are surrounded by nature, sitting between Ounasvaara Hill and the Kemijoki River, but you’re still only a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Rovaniemi.
You get the feeling of staying in your own cosy Lapland cabin, while still having the convenience and facilities you would expect from a hotel.
The location is particularly good for families, with plenty of space outside for building snowmen, making snow angels and enjoying the snow. The ski slopes are also very close by and there are complimentary toboggans available – perfect if the children still have some energy left after the day’s activities!
After a day outside, you can head back to your own cabin and warm up in your private sauna, or enjoy a meal together in the resort’s restaurant.

The cabins are semi-detached and located either hillside or riverside within the resort.
